Fanless PC system for POS application The Shuttle POS DS100 is a sleek complete mini PC system with a robust 1.3-litre metal chassis and exceptional connectivity. The array of modern connectors include HDMI 2.0a, DisplayPort 1.2, USB 3.2 Gen.1, but also traditional ports like VGA, COM and USB 2.0 are part of the package which are particularly important for commercial applications. With Dual Gigabit LAN and WLAN-ac/Bluetooth built in, network connectivity is extensive. Thanks to its passive cooling and SSD storage, the system is virtually maintenance-free and approved for 24/7 nonstop operation. It is big on performance, yet extremely energy-efficient - the ideal platform for professional applications such as digital signage, POS, Kiosk, Thin Client, Office PC and Multimedia. Suitable for three-monitor operation Thanks to its three display connections, this model can drive up to three displays at the same time making it suitable for video walls, digital signage scenarios or workstation applications that require a huge amount of data to be processed simultaneously. Just 2.5" HDDs An extremely compact PC housing offers less space for drives, that's why this Mini-PC uses slimline 2.5-inch hard disks. The advantage of this is that there's less noise, less heat generated and reduced power consumption. However small hard disks in a small housing does not have to mean less memory. Modern 2.5" HDDs are every bit as good as their 3.5" brothers. Fan-less external power supply A highly effective external power supply provides the Shuttle Mini-PC with its energy. And since it works without a fan, it is completely noise-free.
